I am writing this while on a trip to speak at two churches and attend National Prayer Committee meetings, but I wanted to get this out because today is February 1. Why is that important? Well the fun starts today.
Today begins our annual birthday month challenge. This is a special month for me. I got engaged this month. I first became a pastor this month. I was born this month (the 21st) and my only daughter Samantha was born this month (she turns 13 this year). The picture is of me as a kid.
So to celebrate all of these wonderful things we have what we call the Birthday Month Challenge. Normally I challenge you to consider making a donation to the ministry of a dollar for every year I will have been alive (this year is would be $44). If you feel led you can do that here.
But think year I am praying for an even bigger miracle because the doors that God is opening for us. I am praying that very soon we will be able to add a 3rd episode a month to the podcast. I am believing for us to cross 75 countries to have downloaded the podcast and that we would cross 100,000 unique visitors to the website. That means individuals coming to us to go in their relationship with Jesus.
So I am asking you to get involved even if you never have before. Maybe you can give $13 for each of the years that my daughter has been alive (or $26 for double that amount). Maybe you can even give $88 for 2 dollars for each of the years that I have been alive. Donate Here
But I am praying that some of you will be led to make a difference around the world by becoming monthly supporters of the ministry. Even if you can only do that for one year let me ask you to consider making a difference for churches, pastors and individuals around the world. Would you consider $13, $26 or $44 a month? I am praying for some big things for this month so anything God lays on your heart would be appreciated. Having finished the National Prayer Committee meetings I am reminded of the important role that Christ Connection plays in what God has for the USA and beyond.
