Mike Haseltine-Breaking stereotypes for Jesus -Ep 55

My guest today is Mike Haseltine pastor at Maranatha Assembly of God in Forest Lake MN. I have known Pastor Mike for over 15 years. While I was still pastoring we would meet about every 6 weeks to 2 months for lunch and conversation. I believe that mentors can have a powerful impact on you and Mike was one of the people that I reached out to when I was a lead pastor so I wanted to introduce him to you.

Pastor Mike is known for his love of breaking stereotypes of what pastors and church should look like. With his motorcycle riding, car racing and tattoos he is not the image that most would picture of a pastor. The church’s creativity has led to a boxing ring, a blessing of the bikes service and to paraphrase one article of him to say, “people like to get out their boxes-Pastor Mike doesn’t even have a box.”
