A message from my 13 year old daughter

I am all about bringing you the encouragement you need for your walk with Jesus. So today I wanted to share with you a message that my 13 year old daughter wanted me to pass along to you. Here it is:

Hi this is Samantha, You might be wondering who I am and why I am writing this. I am Kevin’s daughter and I felt like God wants me to be a messenger and tell you this word.

This has been scary and hopeless times with the Covid-19 and it is easy to feel helpless in these times. I would know, having to stay home from school with nothing to do and no car to even go to the store. I don’t have much money to give to any cause. I know I might not know what you are going through right now and I can’t say I can relate to anything you have been through, but I know what it is like to feel helpless. I also know that there is a God who is bigger than any helplessness we might feel and any trial we face. He is bigger than the Covid-19. He is bigger than all of this. And you know something that might seem crazy; we have a direct connection to the God of the Universe who made the Earth out of nothing. This is called prayer.

You might be rolling your eyes right now, and might be saying yes that is what everyone’s saying, but it is so true. I feel like God is saying that we can do something. If we fall on one knee and pray it can change the world. God loves a devoted heart. God has been giving me this vision of a young girl falling on her knees crying and praying and somehow, some way her saving someone in China with the coronavirus. God can bring healing, life, and hope if we just take a minute of our day and pray. So I would just challenge you today. Pray

So I hope my daughter’s words are an encouragement to you today. As someone has said-this can be the churches’ finest hour. A few extra resources to help you on your day:
