Mandy grew up in a home where every Saturday morning after eating breakfast together, her parents would look across the table and tell her brother and her to “go outside and have an adventure, and don’t come back until you do.” This means that she did a lot of really dumb stuff. It also means that from an early age, she was challenged to see possibilities and live in unconventional ways. In a world telling us what we need, Mandy helps us figure out what we want, and then inspires us to do more of that.
